ThaRum - a most excellent Cambodian blogger
So I'm sitting here in one of the Internet cafes aorund town that I use. I have several due to the power (or lack thereof) situation here in Phnom Penh. If one place loses power I just moto over to another district in the city that is usually not blacked-out at the same time as the one closer to my house. Anyhow, I'm sitting here posting to my blog when I get a Yahoo Instant Messenger message from ThaRum, a local guy who has a nice blog going on at ThaRum. Turns out he is sitting right across from me posting to his blog. Small world, eh? Small town too as it happens!
ThaRum turned me on to the excellent Global Voices site and he was the one who used one of my photos of the Cambodian Water festival on that site a while back.
Phnom Penh is not as big as London. And the world is not as big as the web when we are connected.
When I came in this favorite cyber-cafe, I felt that you are someone familiar. Clicking on a link from my weblog, I found that you also use Instant Messenger. So just tried to see if it is you. It is nice to meet you and say hello in person after communicating via emails.

I ask you will, not to shoot guns.
