Hey I'm in another band here in Cambodia's capital. We're The Hellhounds and we play old blues, folk, Cajun, Zydeco and other traditional American Music. Funny that two of the three of us are Australian.
There's band-leader Jimmy on accordian and slide guitar (not both at the same time!). Then there's Ken on harmonica and mandolin (not both at the same time!). And finally yours truly on a blue Japanese Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. We all sing a bit, but mostly Jimmy does the honors. I'd sing more, but I can never remember the words.
We've been playing gigs around town - Art Cafe, La Croisette, Pontoon - for about two months now and our sound is finally coming together in a very satisfying way. Coolness abounds.
Lots of gigs this month!
